5-12-08 Postage Increase
As I have discussed in a previous issue, postage rates are increasing on the 12th of May. The U.S. Postal Service has now released the new rates for international mail. International mail is changing to shape based pricing like domestic mail. As a result, it is going to be cheaper to send a letter than a flat just like domestic mail because of these changes. I am in the process of creating a comparison form for the international rates like the one that is available for domestic mail. I will post it on our website in the coming days. Here is a link to the domestic mail comparison form.
Large Pickup’s
If you have more mail than usual, please call mail services to inform us. This allows us to arrange to pick up your mail on the route or by a special pickup as necessary.
Preparation of Daily Mail
Mail Service’s currently employs only four people that process your daily mail. It is very important that we have the customer’s help in preparing the mail properly to process the nearly 4,000 pieces of outgoing mail that Mail Service’s handles daily. Important points about preparing your daily mail are listed below.

Mailing Supplies
Mailing services has mailing supplies available. Please call for availability or use the supply order form on our website. One note about the supply order form on our website, please INCLUDE contact name and mail code to receive the supplies. These are the first two fields on the top of the form. Here is a link to the supply order form.
Website
Every issue of the Mail Service newsletter, I mention the website and some of the features that can be found there. The reason that I do this is because I want to give our customers the best service that I can. The website offers many features that some people do not know exist. There is a new PowerPoint presentation about the website available on the website. This goes through the entire website and gives more information about the interactive features of our website. Check it out and find some new things on our website. Here is a direct link to the presentation.
Another new option on our website is a customer satisfaction survey. This allows you to give your opinion on the service that we offer at any time. We appreciate any feedback that you give us that will help us improve the services that we offer. Customer Satisfaction Survey
That concludes this edition of the Mail Service newsletter,
if you have any questions or comments, please let us know. We are always
trying to improve our services and welcome any input from our customers.
