Eleventh Edition:
Welcome to the MSC newsletter. It is February,
so it is time for the U.S. Postal Service to announce its yearly postage
increase. I will discuss the major changes that might affect your
department. In addition, we have been working on a redesigned website. I
will discuss the redesign and ask for feedback.

New Website Design
We have had some feedback on our website. Some people have had problems navigating the website. We have come up with a little different design that allows for more explanation of each link. The address for the new design is http://www.msc.ilstu.edu/new_site/default.shtml. We would like to receive feedback on the different design to see if it is easier to navigate then the old design.
Surplus Envelopes
If you have surplus campus envelopes, please return them to Mail Services for redistribution. Currently our supply of surplus envelopes is very low.
Update Addresses
We have been having issues with UPS packages sent to incorrect
addresses. It is important to make sure that a current address is being
used when sending any package or letter. An incorrect address can cause a
charge of up to $10.00 from UPS. A phone call is much cheaper than that.
Closing
This issue has been a short one, but with
important issues. If you have questions about how the postage increase
will affect your department, please do not hesitate to call. In closing,
please give us feedback on the new design of the website because it is important
that the website is useful to the departments that we serve. Until next
time.
Thanks,
Shannon
